This was Kanye West’s message to fans after South Park made fun of him this week.

SOUTH PARK MURDERED ME LAST NIGHT AND IT’S PRETTY FUNNY. IT HURTS MY FEELINGS BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SOUTH PARK! I ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY EGO THOUGH. HAVING THE CRAZY EGO IS PLAYED OUT AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE AND CAREER. I USE TO USE IT TO BUILD UP MY ESTEEM WHEN NOBODY BELIEVED IN ME. NOW THAT PEOPLE DO BELIEVE AND SUPPORT MY MUSIC AND PRODUCTS THE BEST RESPONSE IS THANK YOU INSTEAD OF “I TOLD YOU SO!!!” IT’S COOL TO TALK SHIT WHEN YOU’RE RAPPING BUT NOT IN REAL LIFE. WHEN YOU MEET LITTLE WAYNE IN PERSON HE’S THE NICEST GUY FOR EXAMPLE. I JUST WANNA BE A DOPER PERSON WHICH STARTS WITH ME NOT ALWAYS TELLING PEOPLE HOW DOPE I THINK I AM. I NEED TO JUST GET PAST MYSELF. DROP THE BRAVADO AND JUST MAKE DOPE PRODUCT. EVERYTHING IS NOT THAT SERIOUS. AS LONG AS PEOPLE THINK I ACT LIKE A BITCH THIS TYPE OF SHIT WILL HAPPEN TO ME. I GOT A LONG ROAD AHEAD OF ME TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE I’M NOT ACTUALLY A HUGE DOUCHE BUT I’M UP FOR THE CHALLENGE. I’M SURE THE WRITERS AT SOUTH PARK ARE REALLY NICE PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE. THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DRAW MY CREW. THAT WAS PRETTY FUNNY ALSO!! I’M SURE THERE’S GRAMMATICAL ERRORS IN THIS… THAT’S HOW YOU KNOW IT’S ME!

Oh Kanye. I want to believe you, but we’ll see. And why must you use all CAPS? That’s so annoying.  

For now, I’ll focus on the music and ignore his former mullet, lesbian girlfriend, and regular declarations that he is NOT GAY! Enough already Kanye.

I was a pretty big ‘Ye fan for a while. I have all of his albums up until “808s and Heartbreak.” I tried to like 808s, but I couldn’t, I wouldn’t and I definitely wasn’t paying my good money for that. It wasn’t even worth the time for an illegal download.

Then he had the nerve to say that he was just so out of the box creatively, and if his fans didn’t like this new crap, they just didn’t appreciate good art. That’s when he lost me. Umm no, Kanye, you just can’t sing, and I will not force my ears to listen to that on the regular.

Thoughts

It was a really long weekend. So long, that I didn’t even plan ahead for what to blog about this week. And I always plan ahead!

So, I’ll be random.

Making the Band: This season is just further evidence that Diddy doesn’t care about making a band. I’ve never seen this much crying and unnecessary fighting in life (looking at you Q –>).

And that new video? Oh Diddy… “Ciroc Obama?” Boo. I don’t know how Diddy is treating Janelle Monae, but I hope she has a good backup plan as she’s building up listeners.

After seeing the Swag Surf dance done about three times in one night, I think I need to finalize my personal ban on Atlanta nightclubs.
